About the Insomnia Group Program
Founded in 2021, the Insomnia Group Program is dedicated to improving access to evidence-based, non-medication approaches for insomnia and related sleep difficulties. Through partnerships with NL Health Services in Newfoundland and Labrador and Thrive Together Wellness Centres in Ontario, we have helped hundreds of participants develop practical skills to improve sleep, manage stress, and enhance quality of life.
Our programs follow established clinical guidelines for the treatment of insomnia and emphasize practical, skills-based learning. We offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), introductory mindfulness programs, and educational workshops designed to provide participants with tools they can continue using long after the program has ended.
We strive to create welcoming, supportive, and inclusive learning environments where participants can gain knowledge, build confidence, and develop lasting skills to support their sleep and well-being.
